West Wallsend 25m Indoor Pool

The West Wallsend indoor pool is a hub for the local community.

West Wallsend is a small town in the City of Lake Macquarie Local Government. It is near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway and the western suburbs of Newcastle. After many years of use the pool was in much need of an upgrade in order to bring the facility up to current standards.

The enclosure and external walls of the pool including the change rooms were retained and renovated for budgetary reasons whilst the remainder of the facilities were upgraded including the pool, administration offices and Kiosk, new meeting rooms added for community use. All pool associated plantrooms were renewed as was the air conditioning plant equipment.
