Waverton Waterfront Apartment.
The owner of this large three bedroom apartment wanted to maximise the connection to the harbour and modernise the interiors throughout
Situated within a large 1980s waterfront development, the apartment occupies an absolute waterfront position with expansive views across Sydney Harbour.
While the original structure provided generous ceiling heights, the relationship between interior and exterior was compromised by low-height balcony doors. This disproportion constrained sightlines, directing the view downward rather than extending it toward the horizon.
A holistic architectural redesign was undertaken to recalibrate scale, proportion, and outlook. All balcony doors were replaced to re-establish visual continuity with the harbour beyond. The scope extended to a complete interior refinement, including marble bathrooms, a highly resolved kitchen, integrated custom joinery, timber panelling, and carefully articulated lighting and architectural hardware.
The project is defined by precision, materiality, and attention to detail—where the success of the architecture lies.
